Description

Following the recent acquisition of TIE Kinetix, a Netherlands-based company with 36 years of EDI and e-invoicing experience, SPS Commerce is seeking a Junior Project Coordinator to join our team in the Netherlands. If you have strong organizational skills and the ability to influence and motivate others, this job offers you some great opportunities. As Project Coordinator, you will:

  • Gain a broad understanding of our company and interact with a variety of stakeholders, enhancing your chances of moving up, possibly to a Project Manager role
  • Play an important role at the front end of operations, coordinating intake of all projects with both new and existing users of our 100% digitalized supply chain solution
  • Expand your knowledge of SaaS, EDI and E-Invoicing technologies while also growing your leadership skills
  • Join an experienced and welcoming team (some have been with us for decades) in an open and friendly environment and enjoy the convenience of a hybrid work arrangement
  • Earn a competitive salary, 8% holiday allowance, a company laptop and comprehensive benefits

You will work a hybrid schedule, coming into the office at least once a week. You may come in more frequently as you get up to speed. Open to full-time or part-time between 32-40 hours per week.

Does this sound like you?

  • You can achieve results through a collaborative approach with stakeholders, but also remain willing to be assertive as necessary
  • You bring a goal orientation, working steadily through tasks and changing priorities effectively
  • You keep an eye out for potential process improvements
  • You embrace working with new technology, diving into new applications and making them your own

Day to Day

Reporting to an Operations Team Lead you will work closely with SPS implementation and sales teams to provide a world-class experience and ensure high customer satisfaction. You'll act as a filter in gathering information prior to assigning work to Implementation Consultants. Initially, you'll support projects for customers in the Netherlands, and over time expand your responsibilities to support customers in Germany and France.

You'll focus on intake tasks once a project launches, which involves communicating directly with customers to gather required information and prepare them for success in the implementation process. You'll also interact extensively with the sales team. Communication will include email, phone calls and both online and in-person meetings.

More specifically, you will:

  • Create and manage follow-up on tasks associated with any customer communication
  • Handle all customer interactions in a timely manner
  • Ensure on hold process compliance and exceptions
  • Assign projects to Fulfillment, Testing & Certification, and Assortment implementation teams
  • Train new and existing employees on "queue" and Coordinator processes
  • Assist with interdepartmental requests and act as an ambassador for the implementation teams
  • Deliver feedback on processes to increase team efficiency and customer satisfaction based on changing business needs
  • Assist with reporting of operational metrics
  • Provide support on data analysis leading to insights and recommendations to management

Required Skills

To be a good fit for the Project Coordinator opportunity, you will have:

  • Completion of an MBO or HBO program from an accredited institution and 1-3 years of related experience or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and a proven ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and motivate others
  • Demonstrated computer knowledge, with the ability to learn new technology quickly
  • Fluency in Dutch; familiarity with English is a plus

Preferred but not required:

  • Project management experience
  • Experience with SaaS or EDI solutions
  • Previous understanding of SPS processes
