Position Summary: 

We are looking for a Sr. Software Engineer to design, develop, document, test, and debug software for both internal and external customers. As a technical expert, you will work on development projects with a team of talented engineers and engage with SPS Commerce product teams throughout the full software development lifecycle, promoting best practices. 

As part of a multicultural team, you will develop new features while ensuring data and security integrity. Collaborating with colleagues across departments, you will deliver top-tier solutions and work on a high-visibility product utilizing modern technologies. You will enhance the flagship product’s capabilities and implement new architectural solutions, collaborating with other development teams. This complex product offers numerous opportunities to advance a wide range of technical skills. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Work with minimal supervision to implement complex methods and procedures within assigned problem domain 
• Own the development, test, and deployment for an entire product 
• Estimate new work with consideration and commitment 
• Identify and communicate risk, ambiguity, complexity, and dependencies 
• Share knowledge of technical skills, patterns, and practices with the rest of the team 
• Code review and mentorship of associates, intermediates, and other senior members on the team 
• Work with business partners outside of you team to explain and champion high-level technology approaches 

Location:  

This is a hybrid role based in our Warsaw office.

Required Qualifications: 

• A bachelor's degree plus 5 years of software development experience; a master's degree plus 3 years of experience; a PhD without prior experience; or equivalent education and work experience  
• Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript 
• Experience with React 16+ 
• Experience with Redux, HTML and CSS 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience with federated modules 
• Experience with Azure DevOps 
• Experience with Vite, Playwright, single-SPA
