SPS Commerce is seeking a Manager I, Implementation to join our new extension team for Small Business System Automation. You will work US Central Time from Philippines as you lead a growing global team of people who develop file integration services for SPS clients. This role requires direct or indirect leadership experience, the ability to mentor and coach team members and support customers, technical knowledge, and outstanding communication skills.

Day to Day
The Manager I, Implementation is a key member of the Fulfillment Automation team and will lead a team of people who develop file integration services for SPS clients. Responsibilities include building, developing and maintaining a highly productive and skilled team of resources focused on delivering technical integration solutions to our customers. Strong interaction with designers, development, technology and support teams will be required.
As part of your specific duties, you will:
- Supervise assignments of delivery resources to implementation projects
- Manage a global team of Consultants, focused on delivery and growth
- Regularly perform 1:1s with employees, conduct performance reviews and career development discussions
- Provide feedback on quality, timeliness and cost-effectiveness of customer and internal deliverables, and coach direct reports regularly
- Facilitate process improvement discussions across internal functions to implement changes that improve SPS Commerce business performance and operations
- Provide mentoring and work direction for team resources, as needed
- Partner with Technology, Customer Support and Customer Success to ensure effective touch points are maintained to provide excellence in all areas of service delivery
- Provide feedback and work on the development and maturity of internal implementation processes (staffing, delivery, escalations, prioritization, etc.)
Required Skills
To be a good fit for the Manager I, Implementation opportunity, you will have:
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of experience and education
- 3-5 years relevant experience with demonstrated direct or indirect leadership experience
- Excellent organizational skills and written/oral communication skills, especially at various levels in an organization
- Data driven with experience developing and using metrics to make business decisions
- Experience developing processes and managing projects in a technology-based service organization desired
- Experience working with JIT and Agile delivery
Preferred experience:
- Experience leading a team and achieving goals without direct authority over personnel
- Demonstrated experience in completing IT or service implementation projects
- Knowledge of supply chain, the retail industry and/or EDI
- Previous demonstrated management experience
- Knowledge of the local scene and culture in Manila
