Position Summary: 

The Associate Quality Engineer is responsible for creating and maintaining world-class products and services to be used by SPS suppliers through application and code development specific to a given retail network as well as initiating datacenter configurations and establishing retailer connectivity.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute test plans according to development of products (Fulfillment, Assortment, Analytics, SL/PS/SS, etc.), aligning with retail-specific specifications and requirements
  • Maintain and enhance the existing production configurations for all products
  • Work with escalation tickets and bug/change requests queue
  • Perform network analysis on all changes, as any product or configuration change can have a global impact; define requirements for retailer-specific setup and communications configuration and perform these functions
  • Adapt and utilize best practices for solution development to ensure world-class service is delivered to SPS’s customers

 

Location: 

You can live anywhere in the Philippines. This role is 100% remote. 

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of equivalent education and experience
  • 0-1 years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to balance multiple projects at a time with both speed and quality
  • Exemplary documentation skills of a technical nature
  • General understanding of the concept of e-commerce and electronic data interchange (EDI)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of application programming, data mapping tools, or a combination of experience and education/training, preferably in a professional setting
  • Experience with text editing and data mapping tools
  • Analytical and programming skills; Java preferred
  • Understanding of Object-Oriented techniques
  • Familiarity with JIT (Just-In-Time)
