Position Summary: 

The EDI Specialist I is an entry-level role supporting the implementation and maintenance of electronic data interchange (EDI) solutions for customers in the supply chain industry. This position provides foundational assistance in post-sale onboarding, testing, and configuration of EDI processes, working closely with experienced EDI specialists, customer success teams, and customers. The EDI Specialist I helps ensure data is accurately exchanged between systems and assists in troubleshooting basic EDI issues.

Key Responsibilities:   

• Perform setup and configuration of EDI connections and transactions under supervision.
• Support data validation and testing efforts for new customer integrations.
• Monitor EDI transactions for errors and help identify issues in collaboration with senior team members.
• Communicate project updates and task status to customers, internal stakeholders and team leaders.
• Document procedures, configurations, and test results during onboarding activities.
• Help maintain tracking systems to monitor implementation milestones and deadlines.
• Work closely with experienced staff to learn EDI standards, protocols, and integration tools.
• Respond to client inquiries and route more complex issues to appropriate team members.

You can live anywhere in the Philippines. This role is 100% remote. 

Required Qualifications:   

• Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on EDI transaction troubleshooting
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to learn technical concepts quickly and apply them in a practical setting.
• Effective organizational and communication skills; able to manage multiple concurrent implementation projects
• Familiarity with standard EDI formats and business documents (e.g., 850, 810, 856)
• Ability to interpret, test, and adjust data transformation rules for accurate data exchange

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years of professional experience in EDI implementations or supply chain integrations
• Experience with EDI mapping tools (e.g., Altova MapForce, Seeburger, or similar)
• Exposure to FTP, AS2, VAN, and API-based communication protocols
• Working knowledge of XML, JSON, and related data formats
• Experience in a SaaS environment or with cloud-based EDI solutions
• Strong customer-facing skills and ability to coordinate across technical and business teams
