Position Summary: 

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Frontend) to join our Event Messaging team — the group behind some of the most impactful internal tools at SPS, including Transaction Tracker, Document Error Tracking System, and our growing Event Messaging.

Our mission is to bring visibility into the inner workings of a large-scale distributed system and deliver clear, actionable insights to internal users and customers. You’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our UI — from designing scalable, intuitive interfaces to leading the migration of legacy views and evolving our product experience.

This role is ideal for someone ready to own the UI vision across multiple interconnected products — driving architectural decisions, mentoring teammates, and collaborating closely with backend and product stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Work with minimal supervision to implement complex methods and procedures within assigned problem domain
  • Own the development, test, and deployment for an entire product
  • Estimate new work with consideration and commitment
  • Identify and communicate risk, ambiguity, complexity, and dependencies
  • Share knowledge of technical skills, patterns, and practices with the rest of the team
  • Code review and mentorship of associates, intermediates, and other senior members on the team
  • Work with business partners outside of you team to explain and champion high-level technology approaches

Location: 

This is a hybrid role based in our Warsaw office.

 

Required Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of experience building web applications using modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (preferably React)
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and UI best practices
  • Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand, or similar)
  • Proven ability to lead frontend initiatives — from architectural planning to implementation and rollout
  • Solid experience working with RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
  • Familiarity with frontend performance optimization and accessibility principles
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with AngularJS (we have legacy part that will be migrated to React)
  • Experience with federated modules
  • Experience with Azure DevOps
  • Experience with Vite, Playwright, single-SPA
