Position Summary:      

We are seeking a Lead Consultant  E-invoicing to join our Customer Success Team. In this role, you’ll be part of a team of professionals focused on enabling seamless business integration solutions. You will act as a subject matter expert for E-Invoicing, combining your business and technical expertise to guide and support customers in achieving efficient and compliant invoicing solutions across diverse ERP systems and the SPS Commerce network. 

  

The Lead Consultant will work directly with customers to analyse and document their business requirements, configure and customize applications, and lead solution design through deployment tasks. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, delivery teams, technical resources, and solution partners, ensuring successful implementations that meet customer goals and compliance standards. This position requires deep knowledge of E-Invoicing requirements within the European market, exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage complex projects independently or as part of a team. 

 

Location:     

This role is in our Breukelen office, the team is in-office 2 days per week.    

Key Responsibilities:     

 

  • Provide advanced consulting expertise for complex E-Invoicing solutions critical to customer success and organizational growth. 
  • Act as a subject matter expert in E-Invoicing processes, ERP integrations, and compliance requirements specific to European markets. 
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to other technical resources involved in the project, and peers within the Customer Success teams 
  • Remain current with emerging technologies, regulatory changes, and industry trends related to E-Invoicing. 
  • Collaborate closely with clients to analyse operational needs, verify business requirements, and document objectives for E-Invoicing solutions. 
  • Lead solution design and system configuration to meet customer requirements. 
  • Ensure solutions comply with European E-Invoicing standards, including Peppol, XRechnung, ZUGFeRD, UBL, and KSeF frameworks. 
  • Track implementation progress, manage project plans, and ensure deadlines are met while proactively resolving scheduling issues. 
  • Communicate regular project updates to customers and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment on goals. 
  • Execute system configuration, and testing as a key part of implementation projects. 
  • Deliver professional presentations to executives and stakeholders, both internally and externally. 

  

Required Qualifications:     

 

  • 8+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6+ years with a Master’s degree. 
  • 5+ years of experience in customer implementation and solution testing, with a focus on E-Invoicing solutions. 
  • Consulting experience in E-Invoicing best practices, in ERP systems and E-Commerce.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. 
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently with excellent organizational skills. 
  • Exceptional technical and business communication skills, including documentation and process design. 
  • Demonstrated experience implementing complex E-Invoicing solutions at scale, ensuring compliance with European regulations. 
  • Familiarity with E-Invoicing standards such as Peppol, XRechnung, ZUGFeRD, UBL, and KSeF. 
  • Proficiency in XML, JSON  e-invoicing mapping and familiarity with data integration standards. 
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment and independently. 
  • Solid understanding of Integration Design, E-Commerce, and Supply Chain principles. 
  • Prior exposure to European E-Invoicing regulations, compliance standards, and technical frameworks. 
  • Fluent in English and fluent in one of these other three  languages: Dutch, German, or French.
