Position Summary:  

We’re seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, document, test, deploy, and debug new and existing software. You’ll use your technical acumen and problem-solving skills to create, implement, integrate, and maintain software and system components that deliver value to our customers while contributing to a collaborative team. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Write quality code and tests that are maintainable, accurate, well tested, and following best practices 

• Build services and components upon the latest frameworks, platforms and service providers 

• Monitor dashboards and respond to alerts and keep services running smoothly 

• Partner with experts in specialized areas like usability, cloud automation, and service reliability in a technically complex environment 

• Reduce complexity of work through automation and scaling solutions 

• Monitor and help maintain health and availability of systems, apps, and related infrastructure 

Location: 

This role is located in Toronto, in a hyrid work environment. 

Required Qualifications: 

• A bachelor's degree plus at least 2 years of related experience; a master's degree plus at least 1 year of related experience; a PhD without experience; or equivalent education and experience 

• Experience with Agile, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, C#, Java, or Node, Database, Cloud technologies 

• Proven experience writing quality code and tests that are maintainable, accurate, well-tested, and follow best practices 

• Experience in modern frameworks such as React and Angular or a programming language like Python or Java or Go

The salary range for this role considers several factors, including education, relevant skills, work history, certifications, location, and more. 

The annual salary range for this role is: $71,300 to $106,900 CAD.  The actual salary offered will be determined based on the factors listed above and may fall anywhere within the range.  

Additionally, you may also be eligible to participate in an annual incentive program. An incentive award, if granted, is based on individual and/or organizational performance.
